Appraisal

The Insurance Institute of America recommends that jewelry be re-appraised every two years to reflect the current market value of your fine jewelry. In periods of low inflation, you can wait a little longer. During high inflationary periods, it could be necessary to update it every year.
It is important to have an accurate and up-to-date jewelry appraisal for reasons such as insurance scheduling, estate distribution, charitable donations, casualty loss, quality confirmation, and sales advice.
At JPratt Designs, we feel it is important to have an unbiased evaluation of every piece of jewelry that we produce so that our clients can be confident in all the work that we do. Every piece of jewelry that we create comes completely with an independent, professional appraisal.
